Ann was born in Enid, Oklahoma, and graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Interior Design. She moved to San Diego in 1984, where she lives today with her husband, with whom she has three adult children.

Ann’s foray into the art and design world started with the influence of her mother. Mary had a passion for pushing the envelope with her home décor, wardrobe, and beyond, and her children grew up in a home dedicated to style and sophistication.

While Ann earned her degree in interior design, and worked in the design field, she was always drawn to the fine arts. After a debilitating car accident in 2009, Ann took to painting as a method of healing. Today, Ann is a full-time career artist with pieces showing in domestic galleries and exhibits across the United States, as well as shows in Mexico and Spain. Her style is influenced by the bright colors of nature, which she incorporates into her paintings using a vast library of paints, brushes, stencils, and any other tools she finds along the way. She creates a layered history in every piece, bringing the energy of the world into her work.

As Ann looks to the future, new doors are opening and her passion for interior design is starting to bloom once again. With this new adventure, she hopes to bring her bold, vibrant artistic style into the world of interior design. Ann Golumbuk Art & Design will be making its mark on the world very soon – stay tuned!
